This privacy policy explains how TWorld Training(“we”,“us”,“our”),the trading name of Karen Chesters Group,a sole trader trading from Unit 6 Alvecote Stud,Robeys Lane,Alvecote,Tamworth,Staffordshire,B78 1AS,collects,uses and protects your personal information when you enquire about,book,or attend one of our courses,or use our website.We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

This policy is effective from 21/07/26 and replaces all previous versions.

2.What Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us,we may collect:

  • Your name and contact details(email address,telephone number,postal address)
  • Booking and payment information,including course selection,payment plan details,and(where you choose to pay via Klarna)information shared with Klarna as described in section 6
  • Demographic information such as postcode
  • Date of birth or age confirmation,where required to verify you meet our minimum age requirement
  • Parental or guardian consent details,for students aged 16 or 17
  • Course progress,assessment records,and case study or portfolio materials submitted as part of your training
  • Correspondence between you and TWorld Training
  • Technical information collected via cookies when you use our website(see section 8)

3.How We Use Your Information and Our Lawful Basis
We use your personal information for the following purposes,relying on the lawful basis for processing shown against each:

  • To process your booking and provide your training course — lawful basis:performance of a contract with you
  • To verify your eligibility to enrol(including age verification and guardian consent)— lawful basis:performance of a contract,and legal obligation where relevant to accreditation requirements
  • To maintain internal records and respond to queries — lawful basis:legitimate interests,in running our business effectively
  • To send you information about products and services we think may interest you — lawful basis:your consent,which you may withdraw at any time(see section 7)
  • To meet our obligations to accrediting bodies(e.g.maintaining assessment records)— lawful basis:legal obligation and legitimate interests

You are not obliged to provide us with personal information,but if you choose not to,we may be unable to offer you a place on a course.

4.Students Aged 16 and 17
Where a student is 16 or 17 years old,we collect confirmation of parental or guardian consent before processing their enrolment.We take particular care with the personal information of younger students and will only use it for purposes necessary to deliver and administer the course.

5.How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your personal information for 7 years from the date your course finishes,to allow for accreditation body record-keeping requirements and to cover any potential contractual claims.Where you were under 18 at the time of your course,we retain relevant records for 7 years from the date you turn 18.Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw consent.

6.Sharing Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.We may share your information with:

  • Klarna,where you choose to pay using Klarna’s payment methods — Klarna will use this information to assess your eligibility and administer your payment plan,in line with Klarna’s own privacy policy(klarna.com/uk/privacy-policy)
  • The relevant accrediting body,where necessary to register your enrolment,submit assessment records,or issue your certificate
  • Debt recovery agencies,where a payment on your account remains overdue,as described in our Terms and Conditions
  • Service providers who process data on our behalf(for example,website hosting or payment processing),under contractual confidentiality obligations
  • Any third party where we are required to do so by law

7.Your Rights
Under UK data protection law,you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you,free of charge
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Ask us to delete your information,where there is no lawful reason for us to keep it
  • Ask us to restrict or object to certain processing
