Course Overview:-

Our accredited hair cutting and styling course is an intensive course and a fantastic addition for all stylists and make up artists.This course is ideal for the total beginner who wishes to start out offering clients women’s cutting and styling services or for stylists who wish to refresh their skills after a career break.

Modules Included:-

Introduction.
Health and Safety.
Consultation.
Face Shapes and features.
Hair growth, texture and condition.
Contra-indications & Contra-actions.
Preparation and consultation.
Products and their usage.
Choosing the right tools and techniques.
Sectioning.
Texturising and thinning hair.
Blow drying and finishing techniques.
Cutting a variety of styles including:-
One length bob.
Graduated bob.
Forward graduation.
Layered bob.
Short layered style.
Review Day (Day 6) 3 – 6 weeks after training.
Tutor on hand for help and guidance.

Students will create their own hairstyles in the practical assessment using dummy head and will have to provide their own models to.
A kit is included with this course. The kit consists of dummy head, comb kit, section clips and student scissors.

Method and hours of study: 6 day practical assessment.

Each Student has a maximum time of 6 months to complete this course.
