This Pro Afro Caribbean Hair Styling Coursemis for students who wish to become an Afro Caribbean hair stylist. It gives you all the skills, confidence and know how to create many different styles using the various techniques covered in this training course. You will able to engage with your clients and deliver the styles they request taking you from zero to Hero!

Modules Included:-

Introduction.
Health and Safety.
Hair growth, texture and condition.
Contra-indications & Contra-actions.
Preparation and consultation.
Products and their usage. How to use the right moisturising products. 
Demonstration of how to use electrical equipment.
Twists and Twist Out’s
Bantu Knots
Braiding- French, dutch, crowns, cane rows, plaits and adding hair.
Weaves, sew in weave and nano bead weave. 
Demonstration of how to use electrical equipment, such as tongs, straighteners and heated rollers.
Choosing the right brushes, combs, Pik, flexi rods and the associated techniques. 
Create curly blow wave, flex rod set and straighten hair.

Tutor on hand for help and guidance.

Students will create their own hairstyles on a mannequin heads.

Method and hours of study: 5 days practical assessment.

Certificate awarded on completion.

Each Student has a maximum time of 6 months to complete this course.
