Street Photography course

Course overview:

This course is ideal for students who wish to document street photography. It will help all attendees to develop their own style and formula for capturing surroundings and people. It will educate students not to be too invasive and enable them to be the “story teller” through the images they take by using their eye to evaluate situations in a different manner and different approach from the obvious. We slow the process down so it is a more considered way of shooting so you create the pictures not just snap away.

Modules Covered:

What is street photography?
Create impact with your photographs and capture the interest in the shot.
Convey the story within the photograph and what the viewer will see.
How to create street photography portraits, with the tutors support.
Being ready to shoot so you ensure you get the shot.
Using the correct camera functions i.e exposure and composition to create those impact images.
Equipment and accessories you need for street photography
Legal issues around street photography and etiquette.
How to create your own street photography project.

Course Requirements-

Students must have some photographic experience. 
Students must have either a high spec compact, bridge camera, mirrorless camera or Dslr

Method and hours of study: 1 days practical assessment.

Each Student has a maximum time of 6 months to complete this course.
